  1. i expected poverty to top the poll … while it is definitely a major concern don’t you think issues like education and better administration/politics will slowly but surely resolve the problem of poverty and other issues we are discussing? focusing more on them will actually address the most of the problems at the root level and resolve such issues for ever(well almost because there will always be problems that’ll challenge us)

    • Yes, Tej like you have mentioned there will always be problems.

But one thing we were hoping for when we posted the poll was if we could get potential solutions for clearing them.

    • Hi Sachin, thank you for taking the time to respond to the poll, yes, education is a root cause, the faster we can eradicate it the better we would be as a nation in terms of growth and prosperity.

    • Thank you for taking the time to respond to this poll. We hope that will you be back to help contemplate solutions for these issues mentioned.

  2. I think our dull society is the tree of above given problems like fruit,b,cse it behave just like an inactive oedience .we always choose shortcut to any problem, not want to involve in others problem …………………

    • I believe that we rather think we’d have the government or any other body be responsible for these issues, but in truth we are the ones who are supposed to be responsible for them

  3. I think our dull society is the tree of above given problems like fruit,b,cse it behave just like an inactive oedience .we always choose shortcut to any problem, not want to involve in others problem ???????????????????????????????????????????????????…………………

  4. Corruption, the weakness inherent in the very men who run the system is India’s bane. MAN MAKING is what India needs and this will come as a natural corollary of the funds reaching the places it is intended for. Be it food grains, funds for education-health-relief, or taxes being utilized for the right purpose.

    • Amitava, thanks for the comment. You are right in saying we need leaders who are responsible and logical. Our system has to be such that we have to develop leaders and not goons. We will have a section up for leader of d month featuring a responsible who has done great things for the people

  5. If Corruption and Process inefficiency are solved within the government then automatically most of the other issues will be solved as well.

    • One way corruption can be handled is to exclude human intervention as much as possible from government processes specially the ones that general public deal with on a daily basis. Privatization of govt sector can help too.

    • I am not surprised that the majority of the Indian populace believe so, but yes, it is true. Who is it to blame? Is it the Indian citizen for quietly acknowledging this fact for almost 60 years, or is it the greedy politician who takes a bribe from the average Indian citizen to blame?
